WE PRAY AND GIVE THANKS

Sunday, 23rd March, 2025

Along with other Anglicans in Australia: We pray for the Clergy and People of the Diocese of Tasmania.

In our Diocese: We pray for the Clergy and People of South Wagga Wagga; The Forrest Centre, Wagga Wagga; The Pastoral Care Team at Mary Potter Nursing Home and The Loretto Home of Compassion

Locally we pray and give thanks for: Our Clergy and all who Minister in this Parish; for the Tumut Community Church; Principals, Staff, Scripture Teachers, Students and Chaplains of our local schools and our Pastoral Carers.

We pray for those in need of God’s comfort and care as listed in our Pew Sheet:

Also those named on our Altar List and all known to us with special needs.

We pray for those recovering from surgery and

those who are terminally ill.

We also pray for the elderly,

those living on the streets,

those living alone and

those who feel isolated from their families.

We give thanks for those whose situations and health have improved.

We also pray for the conflicts involving Ukraine, Russia, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and surrounding countries and hope that peace will come to all soon.

We continue to pray for all those affected by Cyclone Alfred. We also pray for the safety of all Volunteer Service Personnel and any families who have lost loved ones as a result of the cyclone.

We pray for those who mourn: For all who feel the   emptiness and loss of loved ones at this time, may   you know God's loving care and support. We pray   for the family and friends of Douglas Norman and   others known to us.

 ...MISSION STATEMENT...

With the Holy Spirit working through us,

to encourage our community to be part of

God's family and become the body of Christ
